2. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymous string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. 3. Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid including location data (GPS EXIF) in them. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location information embedded in the images.

4. Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. This is for your convenience, so you won’t have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set several cookies to save your login information and screen display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and screen option cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be deleted.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie does not contain personal data and simply indicates the ID of the article you just edited. It expires after one day.

5. Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (for example, videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had directly visited that other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

6. Who We Share Your Data With

During the period of data processing, Fundación Fortius España will not share your data with third parties, except as required by law, nor will it make any transfers.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the password reset email.

7. How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and automatically approve any follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.

8. You have the following rights regarding your personal data

If you have an account or have left comments on this website, you can request to receive an export file of the personal data we hold about you, including any information you have provided. You can also request that we delete any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data that we are legally required to retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Users have the following rights:

  • Right to access their personal data.

  • Right to request rectification or deletion of their data.

  • Right to request restriction of processing.

  • Right to object to processing.

  • Right to data portability.

  • Right to withdraw consent previously given.

Any individual has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether the Entity is processing personal data concerning them. Interested parties have the right to access their personal data, request correction of inaccurate data, or, where appropriate, request deletion when the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

In certain circumstances, interested parties may request the restriction of data processing, in which case we will only retain the data for the exercise or defense of claims. In specific circumstances related to their particular situation, interested parties may object to data processing. In such cases, the Entity will cease processing the data unless there are overriding legitimate grounds or the need to exercise or defend possible claims.

If you have given consent for a specific purpose, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on prior consent. You can exercise these rights using the forms provided by the Entity or by sending a written request to:
